FRASAC AGM Friday 7th November 2025

On Friday 7th November we hosted our 22nd Annual General Meeting at the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy and welcomed staff, board members, volunteers, supporters and friends to reflect on the past year.

The theme of today’s event was survivor stories and we were privileged to hear from several survivors of their experiences both in person and through their voices and words. We were delighted to hear from Dr Sarah Browne from St Andrews University on her journey of working in Gender Based Violence services through the years. She ended her presentation with a rallying call for today’s younger generation to pick up the torch and take on the mantle of improving services for all survivors of sexual violence. This is a theme we hope to take forward at next year’s AGM and focus on young people and their contributions.

Feedback from clients is invaluable in shaping and improving the services we offer, and this year’s Annual Report continues to highlight these perspectives. We invite you to download the report here and hope you find it insightful and inspiring.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the AGM and to staff at the Adam Smith Theatre who provided us with a fantastic venue, we intend to return for 2026’s event on 20th November.

We know that seeking help is difficult and we consider it a privilege when clients choose to access support with us.
