We will listen, believe and support you and try to answer any questions you have.
If you would like one to one support from us you can do this by either:
Calling on 01592 642336
Emailing at info@frasac.org.uk
You do not need to be referred to us by a professional to access our services. You can also refer yourself (self-referral) or be referred by a loved one, friend or family member.
You can also make a referral on behalf of a loved one, friend or family member who can also access or services who may require support to help and support you.
What happens then?
When you contact us, we will ask you a few questions so that we know what kind of support you would like and how to contact you. We keep this information stored securely on our CRMS. *
If you contact us directly, we will arrange an information session at the point of referral.
An information session is when we will arrange to contact you by telephone or meet with you in person to gather some information from you, this helps us understand what your support needs are and how best we can meet them. It also helps you decide if you want to receive support from us.
If we do not speak to you directly or you were referred by another professional service, we will contact you by phone to arrange your information session.
After your information session and if you choose to have support at FRASAC, your name will be placed on our waiting list and a trauma practitioner will be allocated to you. They will make contact with you when a space for support becomes available.
It is possible to access crisis support whilst on the waiting list with our Here and Now trauma practitioner if you are struggling to cope with your current situation. Call us on 01592 642336 to arrange this.
Please make sure we have at least one way of getting in touch with you and that if you change your contact details let us know.
