We know many people would like to support FRASAC and one of the ways you can do this is by joining our team of skilled volunteers.

Volunteers work alongside paid staff providing high quality support and counselling to clients both at our premises in Kirkcaldy and in the surrounding areas of Fife, we're very grateful to everyone who gives their time and skills to FRASAC. We recruit volunteers at various times to suit our client workload and all volunteer vacancies will be advertised here.

Vacancy for Board Members

Volunteers also make up our Board of Directors. Our Board currently consists of six members who have skills in several areas including Finance, Marketing, Service Provision, Leadership and Governance and collectively have many years' experience on FRASAC's Board. We are seeking new members to bring their skills and experience to assist FRASAC to continue to move forward and would particularly encourage anyone with paid or unpaid experience in the third sector to consider applying.

Board meetings are held every six weeks and currently take place online. When circumstances allow the Board will meet in person, however online attendance at Board meetings will continue to be an option. There are additional meetings and training days throughout the year. Reasonable travel costs will be reimbursed if meeting in person.

This role can be undertaken for up to three years, thereafter another position on the Board can be held.
