FRASAC & KASP 2025 Winter Newsletter
The new year is well and truly upon us and the latest FRASAC and KASP newsletter is available here.
FRASAC highlights include Shola our new Volunteer Project Worker who was thrown straight in at the deep end helping to train a new cohort of volunteers who start delivering support imminently. Volunteers deliver a vital service at FRASAC alongside our paid members of staff, helping us ensure people don’t wait any longer than they have to for support.
16 Days of Activism which runs from November to December annually is always a highlight and this year the Prevention Team featured highly in our coverage sharing their vital work and insights. This year’s Reclaim the Night March was emotional and a fabulous reminder of the strength within our community.
KASP were delighted to receive a funding award from the National Lottery Community Foundation to boost their volunteering remit which along with other initiatives has helped to reduce waiting lists.
KASP also welcomed a new staff member Jordan their Befriending Co-ordinator “this service offers vital companionship and emotional support to individuals on their recovery journey. As we continue to grow, we are actively recruiting more volunteers in the coming months to help expand this important service and reach even more people in need.”
We hope you find the newsletter interesting, if you’d like to be added to the distribution list email us at info@frasac.org.uk.
