COVID-19 Coronavirus - Update from FRASAC
We know this is a particular worrying time for everyone and FRASAC have today taken the decision to suspend face to face support with clients, this is to safeguard the health of staff, clients and families.
If you are an existing client currently receiving regular support
Your worker will be in contact with you to offer telephone support if you wish to take this up. This will not affect the number of face to face sessions you will receive.
If you are an existing client who is on the waiting list
You will remain on the waiting list and will receive a letter from FRASAC explaining the situation. If you have stated that you do not wish to receive post you will receive a telephone call explaining the situation. You will still be able to access crisis support over the telephone during this time, please call the office on 01592 642336 to arrange this.
If you have an Information Session arranged
This will not go ahead at the moment, we will contact you to discuss this and your referral will go on hold. Crisis support over the telephone will be available during this time, please call the office on 01592 642336 to arrange this.
If you are considering making a referral for yourself or someone else
Whilst we are continuing to accept referrals at this time the referral will not be progressed and the initial face to face information session will not take place at this time. Crisis support over the telephone will be available, please call the office on 01592 642336 to arrange this.
You can continue to access the Rape Crisis Helpline on 08088 01 03 02 every day between the hours of 6pm and midnight.
We are still available if you need to contact us - please call 01592 642336 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to speak to someone. We ask for your patience to help us to continue to support clients as best as we can.
