A grand afternoon at the FRASAC AGM
Friday 1st November saw the FRASAC AGM and the launch of the 2019 FRASAC Annual Report held, as always, in conjunction with KASP at St Brycedale Church in Kirkcaldy. After tea and delicious scones Agnes the outgoing Chair of the FRASAC board described another successful year supporting an ever increasing number of clients due in part to increased funding. Agnes received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Susan the new FRASAC Chair thanking her for her many years of support to FRASAC. We’re very grateful for everything Agnes has done for FRASAC and excited about new board members joining the organisation.
Jan the FRASAC Manager reflected on another busy year and in particular the importance of partnership working with the Police, NHS, Fife Council and of course KASP, which remains key to FRASAC’s success.
Jan noted particularly the opening of the ‘Fife Suite’ at Queen Margaret Hospital which means for the first time that anyone reporting rape or sexual assault in Fife will be seen by specialist nursing staff in a safe space. This is a fantastic development which all agencies have been working towards for some time.
